| Netherlands-Russian Management Programme
The Netherlands-Russian Management Training Programme is a shared initiative of the Dutch government (represented by the EVD or Agency for International Business and Cooperation, a part of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs) and Dutch companies (represented by VNO-NCW, two Dutch employers organisations). The semi-annual programme is a combination of training by renowned business schools and a work placement with a Dutch company. The objective is to prepare Russian managers for a job in a market economy. 22 participants broaden and deepen their knowledge of management, while at the same time making valuable contacts for economic relations with Dutch companies. Simenco has created an English management simulation specifically for this programme, and it focuses on the following areas:
- entrepreneurship
- long term strategy
- finance/business economics
- marketing
- group dynamics
Much attention is paid to the important issue of running the simulation session in full co-operation with the teachers in the programme. This ensures a clear link between the various programme modules.
The simulation has proved to be an innovative enrichment of the programme and has been a great success, as witnessed by the evaluation scores (1-10, n=22):
- Learnt a lot (9,91)
- Interesting (9,95)
- Value to my work (9,82)
- Able to make use of (9,82)
- Clear understanding (9,82)
- Teaching style (10,00)
- Overall (9,89)
